ZITF 2025 Breaks Records: 596 Exhibitors Signal Zimbabwe’s Economic Resurgence​

Record-Breaking Participation at ZITF 2025​

The 65th edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) has commenced in Bulawayo with an unprecedented 596 direct exhibitors, including 45 international participants from 28 countries. This marks a significant increase from last year’s 27 countries, highlighting Zimbabwe’s growing appeal as a trade and investment destination. ​

The surge in participation has led to the complete occupation of traditional exhibition spaces, prompting organizers to expand into newly established zones. A total of 51,204.62 square meters of exhibition space has been taken up, with 112 first-time exhibitors among the participants.


International Confidence Reflects Economic Diplomacy Success

The increased international presence at ZITF 2025 is a testament to the success of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s engagement and re-engagement policy. The policy aims to foster friendly relations and economic partnerships globally, and the growing number of international exhibitors indicates renewed confidence in Zimbabwe’s economic prospects. ​
