Midlands Province Chairman Cde E. Chiherenge Leads Charge Against Gezi in Defence of Party Discipline

Harare – In a decisive show of unity and discipline, ZANU-PF’s Midlands Province Chairman, Cde E. Chiherenge, has taken a firm stance against Gezi, leading party delegates in resounding chants of “Pasi naGezi” at the ongoing party conference. The call for Gezi’s removal from the Central Committee has now received overwhelming endorsement from all ten provinces, signaling a strong message against factionalism and indiscipline within the revolutionary party.
A Unanimous Call for Discipline
The demand for Gezi’s ouster reflects ZANU-PF’s renewed commitment to internal order, loyalty, and collective vision under the Second Republic. Sources within the party indicate that the move is a necessary step in dealing with elements that undermine cohesion by engaging in divisive politics that weaken the party’s structures.
Addressing party cadres, Cde Chiherenge emphasized that ZANU-PF is built on principles of discipline and unwavering unity. He called on all party members to rally behind the leadership of President Emmerson Mnangagwa and to resist attempts by rogue individuals to destabilize the party from within.
“We are a revolutionary party with a clear vision and leadership structure. Anyone who seeks to derail our collective progress must be shown the door. There is no room for indiscipline in ZANU-PF,” declared Cde Chiherenge to thunderous applause.
Factionalism Has No Place in ZANU-PF
Gezi’s fall from grace comes amid increasing concerns over factionalism, which has historically threatened the party’s strength. ZANU-PF has consistently warned against members engaging in clandestine activities that undermine the party’s core values of unity, patriotism, and service to the people.
Political analysts believe that this bold move serves as a lesson to all members who may seek to sow discord within the party. The endorsement of Gezi’s removal by all ten provinces underscores a collective decision to safeguard the party’s integrity ahead of crucial electoral seasons.
Second Republic’s Commitment to Order
Under President Mnangagwa’s leadership, the Second Republic has prioritized discipline, restructuring, and modernization of the party to align with national development goals. The swift and firm response against errant members sends a message that ZANU-PF will not tolerate any form of sabotage, internal rebellion, or disrespect for party leadership.
Unity and Progress: The Only Way Forward
As the party looks towards the future, the removal of disruptive elements like Gezi is seen as a step towards maintaining a formidable and disciplined ZANU-PF. Party loyalists and grassroots supporters have welcomed the move, reiterating that the focus must remain on delivering economic prosperity and fulfilling the people’s aspirations under the visionary leadership of President Mnangagwa.
ZANU-PF remains unwavering in its commitment to national progress, and any individual who seeks to weaken that resolve will find themselves on the wrong side of history. The message is clear—discipline, unity, and loyalty are non-negotiable pillars of the revolutionary party.
