RBZ Officials Sign Anti-Corruption Pledge, Commit to Transparency and Accountability

In a significant move to strengthen the fight against corruption, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) Governor, Dr. John Mushayavanhu, his Deputy, J.T Chipika, and senior officials signed a National Anti-Corruption Integrity Pledge on June 5, 2024. The pledge was administered by the Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC), Michael Reza.
By signing the integrity pledge, the RBZ officials have committed themselves to discharge their duties with the highest degree of competence, excellence, independence, and professionalism. They have also pledged to work independently with other arms of government to promote transparency and accountability.
